Detailed Itinerary
Day 1 Antananarivo
Upon arrival in Antananarivo from Andasibe, transfer to your hotel.
Overnight at Colbert Hotel.
Day 2 Kirindy Private Reserve
Kirindy is a dry deciduous forest on the west coast of Madagascar, and the best place to see a variety of endemics including the cat-like fosa, Madagascar’s largest carnivore, and 7 species of lemurs including Madame Berthe’s mouse lemur, the world’s smallest primate. The gorgeous Labord’s chameleon and Oustalet’s chameleon are also found here.
Transfer to Antananarivo airport, fly to Morondava with Air Madagascar regular flight. Upon arrival, drive to Kirindy Forest (60 Km / 2h ) Enjoy the rest of the day exploring this private reserve.

Day 3 Kindry/Bekopaka
4WD expedition to reach Bekopaka (140 Km /7h ), crossing the Tsiribihina river and then the Manambolo river by ferry.
Overnight Soleil Des Tsingy Lodge.
Day 4-5 Tsingy de Bemaraha National Park—UNESCO World Heritage Site
Tsingy are very unique limestone pinnacle “forests” that exist only in Madagascar. They were formed by the slow sedimentation of coral and shells, and shaped by eons of wind and water movement that began when Madagascar separated from Africa 165 million years ago. The strange, cathedral-like "stone forests" can tower several hundred meters high and contain caves, underground rivers and canyons where bats, lemurs, birds and a specific flora have adapted.
Canoe expedition along the Manambolo river until the gorges to discover caves full of Stalagtites and stalagmites and Vazimba tombs. Then 2 days to explore the National
Parks of Tsingy de Bemaraha : The “little Tsingy” and the “great Tsingy”.
Overnight at Soleil Des Tsingy Lodge.
Day 6 Bekopaka – Morondava (B,L,D)
Drive back to Morondava on a poor road (200 Km / 9 hours with 4WD). Before reaching your hotel, stop at the famous Baobab Ave to observe the baobab trees at sunset.
Overnight at Palissandre Côte Ouest Lodge.
Day 7 Morondava/Antananarivo (B)
Transfer to Morondava airport, fly back to Antananarivo with Air Madagascar regular flight. Connecting flight back to your country.

Relais du Kirindy is located near the Kirindy Nature Reserve where, from your bungalow, you can enjoy the breathtaking calm and views of the sacred Baobab.
Each bungalow opens onto a large terrace and for your comfort comes equipped with mosquito nets, fans, shower room with hot water, and private WC.
The bungalows are carefully decorated with noble wood of Madagascar in warm tones. Comfortable chairs and / or sun loungers are provided on the terrace so you can relax with a drink from the bar while enjoying the breathtaking.The lodge also offers massage rooms and outdoor pool with Wi-Fi available on the hotel terrace and in the hotel restaurant to help you stay connected with your loved ones back home.

Soleil Des Tsingy
Upon arriving at the Tsingy Sun, you are welcomed with a cocktail and accompanied to your 55m² bungalow. The large private rosewood terrace with a wrought iron lounge invites you to enjoy the magnificent view of the canopy.
Inside the bungalow you will find a king size bed with a mosquito nets, desk and bedside tables topped with a wrought iron lamp for your comfort, sofa which can be transformed into a bed if necessary, and ventilation to ensure comfort if the nights are a bit hot. The bungalows are open to the outside, so they offer large windows to observe the surrounding nature.
The bathroom with floors and slate walls is surprisingly large with walk-in shower and beautiful silicified stone washbasin. For security there is a safe for your precious papers and objects.

Bungalows of 32 m², with Queen size bed, private terrace, and sea view, comfort and refinement in Malagasy tradition, scattered in a coconut grove. Madagascar Facts for Visitors
Location
The island lies mostly between latitudes 12°S and 26°S, and longitudes 43°E and 51°E, with neighboring islands including the French territory of Réunion and the island nation of Mauritius to the east, as well as the state of Comoros and the French territory of Mayotte to the north west. The nearest mainland state is Mozambique, located to the west on the African mainland.
Size
At 592,800 square kilometers (228,900 sq mi), Madagascar is the world's 47th largest country and the fourth-largest island.
Language
Today, Madagascar has two official languages: Malagasy and French. French is spoken more or less across the island. Few people speak English or German, however, we have guides who speak English, German, Italian, Japanese, and Russian.
Religion
85% of the population practices Christianity, while just 4.5% of Madagascans practiced folk religions; among Christians, practitioners of Protestantism outnumbered adherents of Roman Catholicism.
Currency
The currency is the ARIARY. For travel expenses, we recommend you bring cash (Euros or dollars) as credit cards are accepted in very few hotels and only in the major cities’ banks. We recommend you change money at the airport upon arrival.
Entry Requirements
To enter Madagascar, your passport must be valid for at least six months. A touristic visa is necessary for any foreigner of any nationality to enter and stay in Madagascar. You can obtain a visa either at the Malagasy Embassy / consulate in your country, or directly at the airport when you arrive.
